I had a few really great experiences doing fun dives with really awesome dive masters, for example Seanos, Fiona, and Simon. These divemasters went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. But I had a few divemasters that really did not seem to care about giving the "fun divers" a good experience. I had a Divemaster in Training that was actually downright rude to myself and the two other divers in the group, which I thought was unacceptable as he made us feel uncomfortable.
The idea I got was that divers who take courses with Big Blue have a better experience since they get to bond with one instructor and a group of divers. I wish I would've taken the Advanced Course while I was there so I could've been part of a group, but I ended getting up double the dives for the same price by doing fun diving.
I stayed in the free dorms which were not too bad, but the bathroom was disgusting. But that's to be expected of a free dorm room I suppose.
I enjoyed the restaurant at Big Blue and the staff was overall very helpful. The food was usually delicious and the happy hour was good.
I would recommend Big Blue if you'd like to take a dive course.
