I've always wanted to learn how to dive, and BBD seemed like a fairly decent option. The accommodation was great for the price, and the schedule easy for just about anyone. Our instructor had the patience of a saint, when our group took several hours longer than necessary in the pool trying to get things right, and managed to work the schedule so we got everything done on the day despite it.
And when it came to going into the water, our odd numbered group was evened out by the trainee instructor who was partnered with me - while the 3 dives we actually went on were great. The first perfect for getting used to being in the water, while the other 2 a reward for going through the tests.
My only issue was the video that was offered at the end of the course. I would have happily bought it had our group featured in it - however our camerawoman was allocated to 2 groups, and spent the majority of her time with the others. As such it didn't seem worth getting.
All in all loved my time at BBD, and would have happily stayed to get the full diving license had it been possible, but would happily return to do the second part without a second thought.
