We stayed at Big Blue for two weeks getting certified! It was inexpensive and the experience was absolutely amazing! Our instructor, Luke was very knowledgeable and an excellent teacher! My ONLY complaint isn't even with the diving experience but with the extremely unpleasant and unprofessional restaurant manager. Tall, scraggly, rat tail hair cut, jacked up teeth and poor business sense. We stayed at the establishment for two weeks usually eating at least one mean everyday and getting coffee every morning and tipping as I would in the US and this guy decides to come to the room and start screaming at me and caused a huge scene because I didn't pay $.50 for some cheese on a sandwich... Having spent money to get two certifications for two people and renting a room for an additional week AND buying food and drinks everyday you would think that a slice of cheese is trivial, but this guy wanted to fight me over it... Needless to say, I walked the 30 minutes to town for the rest of my stay to get my food elsewhere. Other than this, I loved my time at Big Blue and look forward to going back someday!
