Khao Sok and Song Hong

I did a cave trip/course in Phuket. The experience was breath taking! The best views ever from a floating bungalow on the lake in Khao Sok and an amazing experience in Song Hong, in the middle of the jungle.
Definitely a must DO!

Best in class technical dive training conducted by a team of friendly professionals.

Ben, Simone and their team have established a new pinnacle in technical dive training that will be difficult to match.
The courses were challenging but all conducted in a safe and fun environment. There was ample time to ask questions and repeat skills until I was comfortable performing them. The training was comprehensive and more often than not went beyond the scope of the course to provide a deeper understanding of dive theories and the skills practiced. Each instructor comes with a wealth of knowledge from their own diving which they were more than happy to share with students.
Logistics, equipment rental and planning before-during-after the courses were top notch. Simone excels at making sure all the pieces of the puzzle fit.
During the course you will be challenged and pushed to new limits but you will emerge a more confident and knowledgeable diver. Blue Label Diving is a great place to learn from a team of professionals who place your safety and training first and foremost. I look forward to diving with Ben and the Blue Label Diving team again.

Highly recommended

Just done a TDI rebreather course with Blue Label in Thailand, and I can't recommend these guys highly enough. Not just the instruction, which was first class, but the whole operation - Simone was so helpful right from the start, even down to recommending what turned out to a really good local hotel. Ben is a great instructor, he doesn't just go through the course text book style, but changes and adapts - I was struggling with the rebreather that I had selected, so he suggested I try a different one, which got the whole show back on course. Would I recommend Blue Label to a friend? Yes. Would I go back for more courses? Yes.

Awesome tec course in Bunaken, Indonesia

I have recently done my Tec 50 course with Hiro Yoshida on Bunaken in Indonesia.
Over the years, I have done several courses and I must say that I was very impressed with the overall quality of the teaching and Hiro's abilities as a diver. I still have a long way to go to reach the same perfect trim throughout the whole dive. ;)

Great experience!

While on a recreational diving trip a few months ago, I got to try sidemount and rebreather in the swimming pool, with Sandra and Hiro. They made a very professional impression on me and it was not long before I decided to return to start my training in technical diving.

I spent a month in Bunaken, Indonesia, during which time I took a series of technical diving courses with instructors Sandra and Hiro Yoshida, but also did receational and technical dives outside of the courses.
For decompression diving, I took the TDI Advanced Nitrox & Decompression Procedures as well as the PADI Tec 50 course. I also took in between the PADI Tec Sidemount course, which allowed my to follow the Tec 50 course in sidemount configuration.

As a physicist, I was always drawn by the "technical" side of scuba diving and I thought that decompression diving would bring me some more advanced knowledge on the subject... and it did!

Apart from being very friendly people and always happy to answer any question about scuba diving, Sandra and Hiro are very passionate and demanding instructors and their teaching go far beyond the requirements to bring their students to the true technical diving mindset. I have learnt countless skills and tricks that I can now also take in my recreational diving toolbox.

Ah and I almost forgot: this is without mentioning the ideal diving conditions (visibility, temperature), yet sometimes challenging because of currents, that make learning all the more fun.

I would definitely recommend Blue Label Diving!

so proffesional and kind people

Good and honest people do still exist !!

i went to bluelabel in thailand to finish my padi divemaster course.

After a big mess in Egypt, i didn`t receive my divemaster certification, because the instructor from egypt made a big mess of it, and 'forget' to teach many skills.

when i arrived in thailand, simone and ben, the owners, made me feel very welcome.

they`ve studied my problem case , and helped me as much as possible.

they`ve arranged a very good and proffesional instructor for me, called bjorn. He works for blue label diving.

unbelievable how good Bjorn is. after his teaching and skills, i feel so safe now in the water, and i can say, now i am truely a real divemaster. and all off this for so little amount of money?

Ben and Simone don`t only think for money, instead the one in egypt did.

they think of safety first, helping people, and enjoy diving with friends.

thats what diving is for me to. for fun.

i am really thankfull, and i will do more courses with them. for sure, safety comes first, and that is the feeling i got with bluelabel. i just love them !!!!!!

TDI Sidemount

It took some time for me to decide the direction my diving would take, with the decision to pursue a technical diving not one taken lightly. I did quite a bit of research as to who I wanted to undertake my technical courses with and after discussions with Daren at Blue label Diving, had no doubts that they offered the standard of training I was interested in.

The course did not disappoint. Daren was very thorough with the theory and even more thorough with teaching the skills required for the course.

I have spoken with Daren again as I am looking to do further courses with him and Blue Label, and would recommend anyone with an interest in technical diving to get in contact with him as he has a wealth of knowledge and is very willing to help design a course plan to help you achieve your diving aspirations.

Professional instruction from one of the best

Blue Label Diving absolutly rates highest marks for both the quality of instruction and the administrative experience before, during, and after our courses. I will continue to learn with them as Ben's teaching style is tailored well to an individuals' style and abilities rather than a mass teaching one-size-fits-all approach. This organization simply is professional and to the demanding standards of divers who take it seriously.

Excellent facilities, excellent equipment, great attitude, and all around professional with Simone's handling of all details to get us prepared for the courses. We received what we expected and their preparation of me for the course was just what was needed.

Well done Ben and Simone

I really enjoyed!

JJ-CCR trimix cave (user) & sidemount (instructor) course

... so even as a JJ-CCR & technical diving instructor I decided to continue my education and signed up for the TDI CCR Trimix cave course. Word of mouth and the first hand experience recommendation of a good friend made me choose Ben, Blue Label, as the instructor.

After a brief chat at ADEX we sorted out the dates for the course.

Ben and Simone a really friendly, welcomed us at their shop/home where we prepared the trip to to caves. The accommodation (on site at the caves in Khao Sok) is really basic, floating bamboo huts on the lake, which adds a lot to the adventure feeling of diving remote caves. No luxury, but all you need if your intention is the cave diving. The food served there is authentic Thai food, best I ever had... although you apparently could also order western breakfast etc.

Ben has a really well developed schedule for teaching: classroom/theory in the morning and the diving in the afternoon. I don't want to talk too much about the training dives as that might "steal" some of the surprises Ben has for you when it's your turn doing the course with him.

Let's say it like that: He will challenge you and make you understand the hazards of CCR trimix cave diving and how to minimize the risks & dealing with situations!

The second part of our trip lead us to close Song Hong where we stayed in a really nice accommodation, good food and wine... and of course good training dives a little bit deeper.

Ben is a knowledgable, calm & patient instructor, and always up for a silly joke/laughter.

His vast diving experience, his medical background, ... made it possible to always have a good topic to discuss after the training. He's that kind of guy that makes it easy and enjoyable to hang around the whole day!

Besides the side mount instructor training he also made it possible to have a "quick dip" in Sra Keow cave (where he did his 240m). So even after the CCR Trimix Cave marathon he was fancy doing a fun dive! I consider that dive as one of the top 5 I've ever done! Thanks again for that experience!!!

I learned a lot as a user, but also I will copy some things of him when I'm teaching my students! I'm really looking forward to go diving again with Ben! Either when I send him my friends & students for a course and join them, or latest once Ben has finished writing the CCR Cave 100m course for TDI!

TDI Advanced Wreck, Brisbane

The Blue Label team are consummate professionals with top of the food chain knowledge and organisational skills. The course was structured perfectly for me, which made it extremely rewarding but was not completely unexpected given their genuine interest in finding out my diving level and future goals before I chose the course or parted with a cent. The technical skill, thoroughness and knowledge of the Instructor combined with the personalised service means I will definitely be returning to Blue Label for my future training and would recommend them to anyone without any caveat or hesitation.

A rich and rewarding experience

I started with TDI Sidemount course, then I signed for Advanced Nitrox and Theory of Decompression. I built my experience step by step with an excellent instructor, Hiro, in Bunaken which is a perfect location for Tec dives! I loved the Sidemount configuration and the challenge and precision of deco dives. I learned a lot during this courses that pushed my limits and made me know myself better underwater! Thank you!

Great course

Certainly the best diving course I've ever done. Ben is an extremely capable diver with lots of experience and extensive technical knowledge. Ben is also a skilled instructor who ensured the delivery and pace of the course matched my learning needs. The course manuals were comprehensive, the theory was clearly explained and new skills were well-demonstrated and regularly reinforced during the course. Ben also offered lots of practical hints and tips along the way and got rid of several of my bad habits. The course made me a safer and more competent diver. I'll definitely be coming back for more.

Nice experience

I took 2 days technical diving with Max in early March 2014. That was daily diving on 2 different boats. Everything was pretty good: service in the office, transfer, boats, e.t.c. Max is very experienced instructor. Many thanks to him. Also a lot of thanks to Simone and Cameron. I'd like to come back for cave diving soon.

Relevant and professional training. Simply top quality!

Much can be said about Blue Label Diving so I will keep this short. I had the wonderful opportunity to train under Blue Label. Did a total of 5 courses over the last 1 year or so. The instructors, rental gear, learning atmosphere, etc were all top notch. If you are considering technical diving education and finding an instructor who is current and experienced, you need not look further. Thank you Ben, Simone, Hiro and Blue Label! Let's catch up soon.

New Beginning

After decades of recreational diving I felt a bit bored and that I was no longer learning as much as I wanted. Blue Label insured that I was not bored in any way, and that I was constantly challenged. I learned more during the TDI Advanced Nitrox, Side Mount, and Decompression Procedures courses than I expected. This training opens up some dive sites to me that recreational divers do not get to dive. I fully intend to complete TDI's Normoxic Trimix course, and then training in cave and/or wreck diving.

I now have confidence that with additional requisite training, I can safely do more than I previously thought.

Thanks to all.

Enjoyable

What a great place to visit and do techie diving, The only problem was that the boats left no space for getting out of the boat for the techie divers. This was not a issue of the training but the availability of techie boats in Phuket

Quality Training Counts

“When you undertake any new diving activity, it has been my experience that it is worth seeking out the best people from which to learn. When it comes to CCR diving in Asia Pacific, Ben Reymenants from Blue Label Diving was a name which got suggested by trusted friends. The aspect which most resounded with me about his BIO was the exploration of deep caves and ocean on the units he teaches. It has always been my view that you can only learn so much in theory, some things need on the ground experience. You could see that he had done “the dives” and had practical experience from which to draw.

Coming from a GUE Cave and Tech background I wanted to understand if CCR diving was for me; the failures modes, risks, preparation time and associated upside for diving a unit. Ben offered this to me in spades and gave very impartial advice around the various pro’s and con’s of this type of diving. A great example was around the Bailout requirements on a CCR following a C02 hit. Previously there was little formal standards, rather than accepting best guess numbers he did pro-active human based testing in a controlled environment to develop baselines, these baselines have then been incorporated in the formal training standards he teaches.

His training and background in hyperbaric treatment offers an incredible wealth of knowledge to draw upon. Underwater he was always controlled, measured and led by example with each of the exercises. Standards are one thing, but he also spent the time teaching skills which he knew could come of value in real life. The location for training included pool, confined ocean, boat and freshwater environments. He threw enough at me on each dive to keep the task loading up and allowed me to progress with each skill day to day.

His shop is well setup for teaching and I would encourage you to only take what you need personally when it comes to gear, all the basics can be provided by Blue Label. Thanks for the experience Ben and Simone, I look forward to diving with you into the future.”
