7 day onboard Snefro Target was my first liveaboard experience. I'm relatively new to diving and basically all my previous dives were instructor led training dives. As a result I was way less experienced than the rest of the people onboard. I did Sinai classic tour covering mostly easy to medium difficulty dives.
The dive sites were very well chosen. The dive briefings were top notch with PowerPoint presentation for each dive and a detailed dive plan. Our divemaster, Sayed, was perfect taking care of us on every dive, not neglecting less experienced divers but at the same time leaving enough space for photographers etc. The only thing I would recommend is to more strictly impose buddy rules. My buddy was someone I didn't know and a keen photographer and I didn't feel like I could rely on him. As a result I tend to stay close to the divemaster just in case something goes wrong.
In terms of the dive sites, the only thing I would have the crew think about is the Thistlegorm penetration dive which most of the folks, me including, were probably not ready for. I went in last and saw many folks touching things with hands, fins etc, The wreck can get damaged or worse, someone can get hurt.
Live on board: I had twin cabin on my own., plenty of space, cabin was cleaned several times a day. The food was very good and there was always enough for everyone. The common areas were always clean an pleasant to to spend time in.
My overall impression is great. Thanks again to the entire crew of Snefro Target.
