Great Diving School in the south of Tenerife

Very nice dive center. It is dipped in small groups and responded to individual wishes. The equipment is modern and well maintained. I did two land and two boat dives. We have seen many fish and even turtles and rays. Definitely recommendable.

Fun diving!

Fantastic fun with a friend and Simone as our trusted guide for some fun diving. We are both OW divers and did this trip Dec 2016. An easy meet at Chalong Pier onto a beautiful big boat. Clean. Spacious. Excellent facilities. Unlimited diving and lunch included. No stress or fuss about getting everyone into the water to dive. Good equipment, great trip and would highly recommend. Thank Simone and the Blue Label Team

The friendly white tiped reef sharks.

This was 1994 and a long trip with the boat Reef Explorer to a reef called Lihu Reef, about 600Km NE of Townsville, Queensland, Australia. Talking about the visibility, it was not 100ds of feet, but 100ds of meters. We put in a bottle with fish in amongst the corals and waited. 30-40 White tipped reef Sharks came so Close that you could touch them Some of the Sharks actually found where the bottle was, but could not get it out. You can see more here on Youtube under thelningT his was my very best dive ever and I have dived since 1981 all over the World.

My Open Water Diver Course

This was my fist time in the Maldives. I came here for my spring break holiday on the 14th of March. On the first day when I first reached the Maldives I took a speed boat to the hotel I was staying in, Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives. I then had to do my registration in the dive centre and that was the first time that I met my instructor that I would do my course with. He was so nice, humble, funny and was a gem of a person. My 4 dives with him during the whole trip were remarkable. We saw many fish, corals and sharks that I'd never seen before. It was amazing. My instructor Vince, helped me get through my fear of sharks. I am so thankful for that because we saw quite a few of them during our dives and I stayed calm because my instructor helped me do so. In these 2 days I learnt many new skills and learnt to do them properly with correct techniques. Without Vince's help, this was not at all possible. Each and every dive was an unforgettable memory and I am so happy to have done my open water diver course with this dive centre and such lovely instructors. I will never forget this experience and I can't thank them enough for their exceptional service and dive quality. Although I was here for only 4 days, I am so happy that I came and did my course with them. I had lots of fun and a great time. Now I am a certified Junior Open Water Diver, thanks to Vince and his team :).
When I visit again, I will make sure that I dive with the same dive centre because for me, this was the best experience of my life so far and was beyond what I expected.

Thank you so much, see you soon!
Lots of love, Sanjjanaa :)

Another excellent set of dives with ScubaCaribe

We went back to Boa Vista because of our previous experience with Scuba Caribe there, and were not disappointed. Excellent and friendly service from all there, but especially Angelo who went out of his way to make our diving fun and varied. 18 dives by the 2 of us over a 9 day period.

amazing tech diving vacation

I have completed my Hypoxic Trimix and Full Cave courses with Blue Label Diving. From the logistics to accommodations and most important diving experience, everything was organized very efficient, precisely and also with a great touch of fun. I dived with Blue Label 4 years ago and again this time the experience was amazing. Simone, BenR, BenC, Phat, Cameron and Vincent made my summer 2016 vacation a fantastic and memorable one ! I cannot recommend Simone and Ben Reymenants and Blue Label Diving any more highly, I will certainly be back for a third time , forth etc .

Thanks for everything.

Amazing Scuda Diver course with Scuba Caribe

My new husband and I wanted to do something amazing on our honeymoon and thought why not try Scuba Diving.

The team at Scuba Caribe at the Riu Karamboa were amazing. We had the best instructor - Digalan - he was patient, fun, and really helped us enjoy the experience and got us quite hooked!

We did some amazing wreck dives and a reef dive while earning our certification. We saw so many species of sealife. I would thoroughly recommend the area and diving with the team at Scuba Caribe. We had the best time and if we could would go back to continue to do our certification in Open Water

Oh, and they were really reasonably priced. So much better than the UK!

The best cold water diving in the world!

Cold water diving is tough! Drysuits, lots of weight, limited visibility, hard to get to, and it requires more skill than a regular warm water dive. But ohhh, the diving is worth it - particularly up at God's Pocket Resort in Port Hardy.

As a dive shop owner, course director and liveaboard dive boat operator, I can be a pretty demanding client (I prefer the term high standards rather than high maintenance). I want excellent diving from a great dive boat with a knowledgeable captain, good food (did I mention I'm a vegetarian too), a comfortable room all with a staff that are thrilled to be doing the work they do.

The team at God's Pocket delivers year after year. Bill and Annie have owned the resort forever! They are the kind of people you want to spend time with even when you aren't diving. The resort is comfortable, cosy, warm and inviting. The food is out of this world and they somehow attract the most amazing chef's year after year. The dive boat is phenomenal - roomy, comfortable, great space and an elevator for those of us too lazy to climb up the ladder with all our gear on. And the diving is simply the best in Canada, North America and basically any where in the world for cold water!

Last trip we had octopus, wolfeels, sealions, ratfish, rockfish, lingcod, greenlings, nudibranchs, crabs, soft coral, hard coral, bull kelp and more ... plus above water we had whales, dolphins, eagles, bear and a couple of coastal wolves! It's a once in a lifetime trip that I have been lucky enough to do 15 times. And I hope to be back 15 more!

Best diving vacation

My friends and I went to Hurghada last year. I had done a little research at home and came across Funny Divers on the internet. I wrote back and forth abit with Marjolein and decided to go diving with them when we arrived in Hurghada. We went to the dive center and talked to Sayed and planned a dive the next day. We got picked up from our hotel the next day, free of charge, and went on an amazing dive-trip with Funny Divers. This is by far the best diving company I've ever dived with. I will definitely return to Hurghada again to dive with Funny Divers! We made a video from our amazing trip in Hurghada: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1htVDXneKc

It was an amazing diving experience for me!

Completely new in diving, I decided to attend an open water diving course.
I was very lucky and had an instructor only for myself. Thank you, Chris! You can truly feel that Chris is passionate about diving! He is a very strict, but personable and patient instructor.
After my open water diver brevet I participated at two dive sessions as well. Thanks to the whole team for the great time and memories!

Megalodon CCR Air Diluent Decompression Diver Course

I have just spent an amazing week at Blue Label Diving in Rawai completing training on the new Meg 15 CCR. My instructor, Benoit was instrumental in not only teaching the skills but cementing them into my diving.

I have completed 5 courses now with Blue Label diving and each time I have found them exceptional, going far beyond the course standards to produce competent and independent technical divers.

My IDC

I cant say much more than doing my IDC was the best thing I ever did. I have been teaching more or less regularly since my course in Dec 2000 and I see that Mr Soworka is still going strong.

I have seen and done many fine things since then but many of my most memorable experiences have happened underwater or while teaching courses.

No regrets

Hammerheads on Daedalus!

In July this year, I travelled on M/Y Hurricane with my family and friends. The itinerary was 'Simply the Best' and was July, the sun was beaming down and our group of seven was looking forward to continuing our dives mid-week on this isolated yet beautiful coral reef, located many miles off the coast of Marsa Alam. Other guests on the previous day had reported seeing sharks - Hammerheads no less - and Manta Rays, so we were feeling hopeful of a good result on our mid-week afternoon dive. We dropped in, descended and cruised along the wall at around 30m before moving out into the blue, very aware of the harsh thermoclines causing us to drop several degrees in temperature. Only 5 or so minutes into our dive and there he was - a beautiful Hammerhead shark, cruising nearby. We knew from our guide and past experiences that chasing them or making loud noises was not the way to entice them closer, so we sat in our group patiently waiting for more. We were soon rewarded; after a few more minutes another Hammerhead, and then another and another started to take shape out of the blue. Before we knew it, we were surrounded by around twenty five Hammerhead sharks, some only a few feet away. Having never seen Hammerheads close up before, I was never fully understanding of other divers' crazy obsession with Hammerhead sharks - I had always preferred the Thresher or Oceanic Whitetip myself....but, as I watched this large group schooling and swirling around us, the beauty and elegance of these giant predators became very clear and the penny quickly dropped. We were all mesmerised, but not enough to forget ourselves. At 35m and approaching our no-deco limits we knew it was time to move upwards. But, amazingly, the Hammerheads followed. We ascended, slowly, to 30m and then 25m and then finally 20m until eventually our ocean-faring friends went on their way. Ending our dive we realised we'd been lucky enough to spend over 20 minutes with these creatures, some only a few feet away. It was magical, unforgettable and an experience which instantly catapulted itself into the top position of 'all time favourite dives'. Two of the group managed to see the Manta on their safety stop - we didn't, but I'm a firm believer that it's never a bad thing to have something else to look forward to next time.

first dive as sports diver

After completing my sports diver in lanzarote I was looking forward to doing some depth progression as there had been talk of diving the cathedral, a cave at 30m. The next day I was told I wasn't doing the cathedral but was taking in a very nervous ocean diver who had just passed yesterday. I was a bit annoyed but went along with it. During the dive we saw sharks, cuttle fish and an octopus. We got to the surface and my buddy had a huge smile on her face, she hadn't been nervous and had a fantastic dive. Hearing her talking about the dive gave me such a warm feeling to be able to pass on some of my skills and knowledge to other divers. Best dive ever.
