South America

South America Diving
South America is largely unexplored as a diving destination due to the remote and often inaccessible nature of its coast line as well as political instability in some of the local governments. Covering an area of almost 18 million square kilometers it comprises around 12% of the worlds total landmass and only 6% of the population. Patagonia and the Galapagos as well as the northern coastline in the Caribbean sea are some of the more popular diving destinations although around the coastline all manner of warm and cold water conditions can be found.
